HMS Ivanhoe (DD-480) is a Destroyer assigned to Task Group 92.1 within the Tenth Fleet.

History

Ivanhoe was commissioned on 31 July 2013 under the command of Lieutenant Commander Peter Howdeshell, and was assigned to the Third Fleet, based in Grayson, GA.[1]

The ship was recommissioned on 29 April 2014 under the command of Lieutenant Commander Steven Moynier, remaining with the Third Fleet and based in Charleston, WV.[2]

A change of command was issued on 21 September 2014; Lieutenant Commander Steven Moynier remained as Commanding Officer, with changes to the executive and bosun assignments.[3]

Ivanhoe was recommissioned again on 17 May 2019 under the command of Captain (jg) Alex Shaffer, and was assigned to the Sixth Fleet, based in Houston, TX.[4]

The ship was assigned to the Tenth Fleet on 15 January 2020.[5]
