Captain (JG) Tim Simpson:
You are hereby awarded the Meritorious Service Medal with the following citation:
Captain Simpson, in a position as acting awards officer for tenth fleet, has spent the last year and a half working with the Bureau of Personnel in order to make sure that awards that were requested in 2018 were properly documented and awarded to those who had received them. This effort occurred over the course of a complete administrative change at the Bureau of Personnel, as well as a change in command of tenth fleet.
Without Captain Simpson's diligence, members of the club who have contributed to the success of the organization's mission, would have continued to go unrecognized for their effforts.
