Author
Weber's Honorverse began with On Basilisk Station (1993) and has since grown into one of the most extensively developed settings in modern military science fiction, spanning dozens of novels and anthologies. Beyond the Honor Harrington novels he is the author of the Safehold, War God (Bahzell Bahnakson), and Dahak series, and is a frequent collaborator, co-authoring works such as the Starfire and Empire of Man series. He is noted among readers for his meticulously detailed worldbuilding, naval strategy, and technology.
Role in TRMN
As the creator of the setting on which the organization is based, Weber actively engages with the membership of The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc., and has served as Guest of Honor multiple times at TRMN-organized conventions, including Honorcon and MantiCon. In recognition of his singular importance to the organization — without whose work it would not exist — he has received a number of honorary appointments, ranks, and decorations.
