Captain John E Cauffman (RMN-6726-21) is relieved as an Intelligence Officer at King Williams Tower and is hereby directed and required to report to the Intelligence Corps as its Commanding Officer. Due to the nature of this position, I authorize a promotion to the rank of [[Colonel]] ([[O-6]]).

Special Instructions:

Colonel Cauffman,

You are to maintain open lines of communication and cooperation with the [[Bureau of Planning]] and the Office of Naval Intelligence. Your responsibility is to facilitate the seamless exchange of information between [[BuPlan]] and the [[Royal Manticoran Army]].

Furthermore, you are entrusted with the development of the Intelligence Corps. You will be tasked with the appointment of soldiers who have successfully completed the requisite training, acting upon the advice and consent of ONI, to fulfill the responsibilities of an intelligence agent in areas where an active Field Army command structure is absent.

Your diligence in executing these duties is expected, and your leadership is essential to the success of the Intelligence Corps.
