To any and all personnel who are submitting content for publication of manuals and items to be issued by the Bureau of Communications, please submit your content in Microsoft Word or Google Doc format, without custom design. The layout will be determined during the review and design/layout process. We also need all artwork to be submitted as separate files in as high a resolution as possible (so illustrator, high rez SVG, etc) to ensure the highest possible quality of all exported formats.

For manuals and other formal TRMN publications moving through this office, there is a process that we follow and that means things take time. We do the first round of edits and adjustments, then we include editorial review and author involvement, and then we do the layout/design into our standard formats. At this point, there may be additional delays if the artwork is of poor quality or we encounter other items that need to be resolved. BuComm then does an internal review and once complete, we submit to the Royal Council for review/approval. After any changes that may be required are complete and we have RC approval, it goes through the same process with the Space Lords. Following approvals at that level, then First Lord of the Admiralty is asked for final approval before making the content available via the website and releasing it to BuSup for inclusion in the online store.
