	Effective 0001 on 15 July 2017, I regret to announce that I have accepted the resignation of [[CDRE]] Sir Wayne Bruns, [[GCE]], [[CR]], [[SC]], [[OG]], [[GS]], [[QBM]], [[RMN]], as the Chief of Staff to the Bureau of Ships. 	Although Sir Wayne was with BuShips for seven months, he has performed his duties above and beyond what was expected. He was instrumental in organizing, staffing, and forming the bureau into its current iteration, exceeding all expectations for the billet. His substantial contributions as our Chief of Staff, coupled with the increased demands for services provided by the Bureau daily allowed a much higher capacity than expected. Without his guidance in this role, our service to the membership would have been greatly diminished.		Although [[Sir]] Wayne was with BuShips for seven months, he has performed his duties above and beyond what was expected. He was instrumental in organizing, staffing, and forming the bureau into its current iteration, exceeding all expectations for the billet.
