	For conspicuous bravery in service to the Royal Manticoran Navy, Commodore Dame Jill McTavish, KCR, KCE, MC, SC, OG, DSO, CGM, GS, QBM, RMN, Baroness of Miyake-Jima, has performed her duties to the Royal Manticoran Navy in her various capacities within the Bureau of Ships with distinction. Dame Jill took on the role as the Director of the Mentorship Program and devised the program's outline for relaunch in 2018, before she rose to the challenge of BuShips Chief of Staff. Since her tenure as Chief of Staff, she has handled a number of difficult situations on behalf of the Bureau, in some cases pulling double or triple duty. Despite the additional workload during the course of the year, her ability and talent met and exceeded those challenges and she has directly contributed to the high service level to our members. Dame Jill's unwavering dedication and enthusiasm in service to her fellow members is an example we should all strive for, and reflects great credit to herself, the Bureau of Ships, and the Royal Manticoran Navy.
