==Order Text==

In 1672PD, Commodore Edward Saganami gave his life at the Battle of Carson and became the first citizen to receive the Parliamentary Medal of Valor. A life and career serving the Crown, he is known as the Father of the Modern Royal Navy as his doctrines shaped the service for centuries to come. His legacy lives on as his theories of military tactics are taught at Saganami Island Academy and his death while fighting to defend the innocent while outnumbered six to one is how all actions of the Royal Navy is to be measured against.

The Light Cruiser, HMS Unconquered (CL-16) was Edward Saganami’s first command. Instead of being decommissioned, it was stationed in permanent orbit around Manticore as a living museum and a memorial for those lost in service to the Crown. The honorary crew of this noble vessel was to be pulled from the Navy Personnel who showed themselves to be the best and the brightest in our ranks. To uphold the ideals and spirit of Edward Saganami and that he would be proud to call them His Crew.

In The Royal Manticoran Navy Branch of The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, we keep this tradition in our own honor society. Those members of the RMN who have been found to aid the organization as a whole with selflessness, Spirit De Corps and by continuously and enthusiastically going above and beyond the call of duty for a volunteer fan organization. For these members, they are nominated by their peers to be inducted as honorary crew of the HMS Unconquered and are permitted to wear the HMS Unconquered rocker on their uniform above their unit patch. In 15 years, only one hundred and twenty three of our almost seven thousand members have been given this honor and as 3SL, it is my privilege to announce the following Directive:
