For instance, not listed are the various staff members that would be attached to the various units. Those have not been because they would needlessly complicate this chart. Units in the RMMC that are of Company size or larger may have staffs, but those are at the discretion of the commanding officer. As of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby institute the Echelon Breakdown. Please note that this order supersedes Corps Directive 01-1709.

RMMC Echelon Breakdown
Below is a chart which illustrates the breakdown, by echelon, of the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps. The first column of the chart lists the echelons of the RMMC from the smallest to largest unit. The second column illustrates the breakdown per echelon for role-playing. That is these numbers should be used for stories and detail out the RMMC if the RMMC of the Honorverse actually existed. The third column illustrates the breakdown per echelon for the fan club The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. These are the numbers that the fan organization and consequently the RMMC will use to divide the organization by.
