	As of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby create the 1st MARDET.		As of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby create the 1st MARDET.

	1st MARDET		1st MARDET<br>
	The 1st MARDET is an honorific unit that is comprised of members of the RMMC that have distinguished themselves through their service to the RMMC and/or to The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. or any of its other divisions. Members are chosen by the current Commandant RMMC and/or the First Lord of the Admiralty. Membership in the 1st MARDET is only for a calendar year commencing from when a member is inducted at the annual meeting of The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. The commanding officer of the 1st MARDET is chosen from amongst the officers that are inducted in any given calendar year. The sitting RMMC Commandant may not be a member of the 1st MARDET, they only become eligible when they step down from the post. If a previous Commandant is chosen to be a member of the 1st MARDET their term of service in the 1st MARDET shall be anywhere from one calendar year to permanent, with the term of service determined by the First Lord of the Admiralty upon review of the previous Commandant’s service record.
