'''{{hms|Gaheris|DD-482|hcn}}''' was a [[Roland-class]] [[Destroyer]] within [[Third Fleet]]. Commanded by [[Lieutenant Commander]] Mathew Miller, ''Gaheris'' claimed [[wikipedia:Decatur, GA|Decatur, GA]] as her charter city.

==History==
Commissioned in July of 2013 under the command of Lieutenant Commander Hans Sprenkle, ''Gaheris'' was initially assigned to Phenix City, AL., under the umbrella of Third Fleet.<ref name="BSD130708">[[BuShips Directive 1307-08]]</ref> Command temporarily shifted to David Weiner in September of 2014,<ref name="BSD140902">[[BuShips Directive 1409-02]]</ref> until it returned to Sprenkle in November of that year.<ref name="BuShips Directive 1411-01">[[BuShips Directive 1411-01]]</ref>. During this period, however, the patrol area shifted to its final location of Decatur, GA.

Command shifted one final time in January of 2016, to LCDR Matthew Miller,<ref name="BSD160103">[[BuShips Directive 1601-03]]</ref> with whom it remained until the crew upgraded to {{hms|Juno|BC-726|hcn}} in October of that year.<ref name="BSD161004">[[BuShips Directive 1610-04]]</ref> At that time, HMS ''Gaheris'' was transferred to the [[Royal Manticoran Reserve Fleet|Active Reserve]] and taken out of commission.
