HMS ''Vengeance'' began her service when commissioned in November of 2013 [[LCDR]] Michael Hunnicutt; this incarnation of ''Vengeance'' patrolled [[wikipedia:Mechanicsville, VA|Mechanicsville, VA]] while assigned to Third Fleet.<ref name="BSD131108">[[BuShips Directive 1311-08]]</ref> At some point between her commission and mid-2014, command shifted to [[CAPTJG]] Amanda Enders, under whom the ship upgraded to {{hms|Agamemnon|BC-544|hcn}} in May of 2014.<ref name="BSD140511">[[BuShips Directive 1405-11]]</ref> As a result, ''Vengeance was returned to the [[Royal Manticoran Reserve Fleet|Active Reserve]].<br />
