'''New Mecklenburg''' is a [[peerage land]] within {{trmn}} and awarded for dedicated service to the organization. New Mecklenburg was created as a potential peerage land in [[Admiralty Order 0801-08]] in January of 2008, making it among the oldest, and one of the original, peerage lands created for the organization. It was abbreviated with the code NM in the AO.

It was first awarded as a peerage land to John Roberts on 16 April 2011 in [[Admiralty Order 1104-01]]. [[Admiral]] John Roberts was elevated to the peerage rank of [[Baron]].

On 23 May 2015, New Mecklenburg went from a Barony to a County as Admiral of the Green Roberts was elevated to the peerage rank of [[Earl]].

On 21 Oct 2019, the land became inactive, when [[Earl]] New Mecklenburg resigned from {{trmn}}, rather than face the demotion board and peerage court scheduled for him later that week.

The land is extinct on in its first creation. There has not been as second creation.
