Thomas Black also contributed over 20 hours to HonorCon 2017: serving in the ConSuite every day of the convention, using his personal vehicle for con related errands, and volunteered to assist with administering the SITS Crusher. In recognition of the quality and duration of their service to the convention, the above members are hereby awarded the CONSPICOUS BRAVERY MEDAL. Matthew contacted the EMT’s, helped to calm the woman, and collected a detailed description of her son (who was carrying her Epi-Pen at the time) and helped bring him to his mother’s location. The EMT’s arrived in time to administer the Epi-Pen, and Matthew helped accompany the woman to the ambulance. In recognition of his gallantry and with the woman’s personal recommendation, Matthew Miller is hereby awarded the SURVIVOR’S CROSS.
