Chapters honored with admission to the Protector’s Own Squadron display a gold rope border on their unit badge ~~in lieu~~ of the standard white rope border. This change remains in effect for so long as the chapter is a member of the Protector’s Own Squadron. If the chapter decommissions, the badge shall revert to a white rope border. If the chapter upgrades, the old name’s badge reverts to a white rope border and the new name’s badge takes the gold rope border.
