Naval Directive 14OC-01 was issued 1 July 2014 under the authority of the First Space Lord. It appoints the acting commanding officer of Gryphon Fleet.

I hereby appoint Commodore Lord Sir John Neitz, Baron Westmarch to the position of Acting Commanding Officer of the Gryphon Fleet and the Second Naval District with all of the authority and responsibility requisite thereof, effective 01-AUG-14.
