The Ground Forces Training Command (GFTC) oversees the combined Royal Manticoran Marine Corps Training Command (RMMCTC) and the King Roger I Military Academy (KR1MA), allowing a combined administrative staff to provide unity of command and instruction to the RMMC and RMA. The GFTC’s focus is on continual training and the ongoing self-improvement of the marines, soldiers, and other students that pursue coursework. The GFTC offers its educational services through the following two main training centers: the Main Line Training College (MLTC) and the Military Occupational Specialties Center (MOSC). Each unit is headed by a Vice Commandant and offers coursework primarily to Army and Marine personnel, as well as other service members.

History
The Royal Manticoran Marine Corps Training Command traces its origin to the Royal Manticoran Marine Academy, formed as part of Saganami Island Naval Academy in 2011 per Orders:Corps Directive 05-1109. Its mandate was to provide the organizational and leadership training required for promotion within the RMMC, and to promote study in science, engineering, mathematics, history, military history, and space exploration. In 2017 it was established as a stand-alone academy under the Sixth Space Lord and the Commandant of the RMMC per BuTrain Directive BD 001-17, and, per Orders:Corps Directive 02-1612, was renamed the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps Training Command and relocated to RMMC Camp Maastricht in the Duchy of West Wind. It was later combined with the King Roger I Military Academy to form the Ground Forces Training Command.
