HMS Claymore (BC-618) was a Reliant-class Battlecruiser of the Royal Manticoran Navy, chartered in Tempe, Arizona and assigned to Eighth Fleet. Commissioned in 2016 from the crew of the heavy cruiser HMS Claymore, she served for a year before her chapter divided to form two heavy cruisers, HMS Broadsword and a recommissioned HMS Claymore.
History
Claymore was commissioned on 27 April 2016 under the command of CAPTJG Marcus Johnston, her crew having upgraded from the heavy cruiser HMS Claymore (formerly the destroyer HMS Condor), which was placed in inactive reserve.[1] A ship's bosun was appointed the following month.[2]
On 22 April 2017 the chapter divided into two Eighth Fleet heavy cruisers, HMS Broadsword and a recommissioned HMS Claymore, and Claymore (BC-618) was transferred to the inactive reserve, not to be made available for recommissioning.[3]
