Weber's Honorverse began with On Basilisk Station (1993) and has since grown into one of the most extensively developed settings in modern military science fiction, spanning dozens of novels and anthologies. Beyond the Honor Harrington novels he is the author of the Safehold, War God (Bahzell Bahnakson), and Dahak series, and is a frequent collaborator, co-authoring works such as the Starfire and Empire of Man series. He is noted among readers for his meticulously detailed worldbuilding, naval strategy, and technology.
David Weber actively interacts with his fans, including the members of TRMN, of which he is the premier Honorary Member. He has served as Guest of Honor multiple times at TRMN organized conventions, including Honorcon and MantiCon.
