}}The [[Eighth Fleet]] is one of the [[List of RMN Numbered Fleets|numbered fleets]] within {{trmn}}.  Commanded by [[ADM]] Robert Bulkeley, from his flagship {{hms|Wolf|CA-429}}, this fleet's area of operations includes the [[wikipedia:United_States|American states]] of [[wikipedia:Arizona|Arizona]], [[wikipedia:New Mexico|New Mexico]], [[wikipedia:Wyoming|Wyoming]], [[wikipedia:Montana|Montana]], [[wikipedia:Utah|Utah]], and [[wikipedia:Colorado|Colorado]].

The Eighth Fleet was established in 2011 with the [[Naval Directive 11FB-07]] from the [[First Space Lord]], [[FADM]] [[Lord]] [[Sir]] Scott Akers, to [[ADM]] [[Lord]] [[Sir]] John Roberts, [[Baron]] [[New Mecklenberg]] to assume command of the fleet.  {{hms|Anasazi|SD(P)-482}} formed in the Albuquerque area on 17 March 2011, under the command of [[ADM]] John Roberts, transferring a lot of his crew from the [[wikipedia:Trekkie#Activities|STARFLEET International]] (SFI) chapter USS ''Anasazi'' (NCC-62001).  Admiral New Mecklenburg served in three capacities; Ship CO, Fleet CO, and [[Third Space Lord]], but at the time of TRMN's founding, neither of these jobs was particularly onerous.
