Fleet: Difference between revisions

In {{trmn}} (TRMN), a fleet is the major regional geographical division of the club, with the world divided into Naval Districts, each with a numbered fleet.  As the [[wikipedia:United States of America|US]] has the greatest concentration of members, it is divided into multiple fleets, with each fleet covering several states.  For the rest of the world, complete countries or multiple countries make up a fleet area.

[[Naval Directive 14JL-01]] details the duties of fleet commanding officers.  Additionally, fleet commanders are authorized to perform the following functions:

*commissioning of [[pinnace]]s and [[LAC]]s<ref>[[Admiralty Order 1403-02]]</ref>  

*creation of [[Echelon unit#Division|divisions]] <ref>[[Naval Directive 18JAN-01]]</ref>  

*promotion from [[O-1]] to [[O-2]].<ref>[[Admiralty Order 1701-04]]</ref>
