Founding (2014)
The Tenth Fleet Wiki was founded on 15 July 2014 by Michael Garcia. At the time there was a serious shortage of easily accessible reference information about trmn: the organization's only central resource was its official website, then running on the Mambo content-management system, which many members of Tenth Fleet felt did not go far enough. Garcia built the site on MediaWiki — the software that has run it from the very beginning — hosted on a server owned jointly by Garcia and Shon Elliott.

Bureau of Communications Staff
Although its deepest coverage was always of Tenth Fleet and its Order of Battle, the wiki was conceived as a complete reference for the whole organization. Over time, editors and contributors from across TRMN joined the effort and grew it into a far more robust resource.
:Main Article: BuComm Staff

The Wiki Team reports directly to the following staffers:
The Mantipedia years (2016–2024)
*Deputy Fourth Space Lord, CDRE Lord Sir Dave Weiner, KSK, GCE, Baron of Serpents Head Point
In 2016 the Bureau of Communications adopted the site as-is as the official TRMN wiki, Mantipedia, and left Garcia to run the wiki team as he saw fit. The change came with the first major redesign. In 2017, for TRMN's tenth anniversary, Doss Buckalew carried out the first major overhaul of the wiki's CSS — replacing a dark skin the project had previously adapted from the web — while Bob Bulkeley produced the graphic redesign, including the navigation buttons and the anniversary branding.
*Director of Web Services, CAPTJG A. J. Olsen, EM, RMN

Through the Mantipedia years the wiki grew into a large, organization-wide project maintained by a dedicated Wiki Team of project leads and at-large editors drawn from across TRMN; for a time it was placed under the Office of the First Space Lord as part of that office's educational initiative. The team rosters from each era are preserved in this page's [ edit history].

In 2024, following the appointment of a new Fourth Space Lord and an accompanying shift in policy, BuComm moved a copy of the site to a new server under the organization's direct control. The
wiki.trmn.org
address was redirected to that copy, and this original wiki went dormant.

Return as a regional reference (2026)
On 7 July 2026, members of Tenth Fleet resolved to bring the Tenth Fleet Wiki back as a regional reference — complementing rather than replacing the official Mantipedia — with its focus once again on Tenth Fleet's units, order of battle, history, and members.

The wiki was inspired by Main Page, the free, open-source encyclopedia. The Tenth Fleet Wiki currently holds NUMBEROFARTICLES articles.
