In TRMN, an army chapter is a regiment, or portrays part of a notional regiment if the chapter is less than regimental strength. For example a Tier 3 sized chapter takes its name from a regiment, but portrays a company within that regiment.  The regiment name stays the same as the chapter grows to portray larger echelons within the regiment, up to the entire regiment (if it is a Tier 9 chapter).<ref>[[Orders:Adjutant General Order 2407-01]]</ref>

Tier 1 chapters are Attached Elements of larger chapters,<ref>[[PD-SC-1003 Chapter and Echelon Policy]]: 10. Tier 1 chapters have no officer requirements and have a single NCO as their minimum rank for command triad. These are attached units which are used for role-play or member/chapter development.</ref> so will take their name as a squad of the parent chapter.  If a Tier 1 chapter upgrades to a Tier 2 or larger chapter, it can then select its own regimental name.

All RMA chapters that wish to portray an Aerospace unit take a wing name.  If they are a smaller tier than full wing, they portray a constituent echelon of the wing.  For example, a Tier 3 chapter portrays one of the wing's [[squadron]]s.  The chapter name stays the same as the chapter grows to portray larger portions of the wing, up to the full wing (Tier 9 chapter).<ref>[[Orders:Adjutant General Order 2407-01]]</ref>
