My Lord:
Directive 23MY-02.02: You are directed and required to assume command of the Second Naval District
of the Royal Manticoran Navy, relieving RADM The Right Honorable The Baron Oak Forest, Sir Geoffrey
Strayer, GCE, KCR, MC, SC, OG, CGM, GS, QBM, RMN. Fail not in this duty at your peril.
Directive 23MY-02.02: RADM Oak Forest is hereby awarded the Order of the Crown for Naval Service.
His citation reads as follows: “For his distinguished service to the Crown in his five years of tenure within
the Headquarters Staff of the Second Naval District while serving in the Royal Manticoran Navy, RADM
Oak Forest, since 2018, has fostered the growth and development of said Naval District in his capacity as
the Fleet Deputy Commanding Officer and Fleet Commanding Officer. Through his direct leadership, the
Naval District has repeatedly demonstrated achievement and accomplishment above and beyond the
expectations set by the Office of the First Space Lord, with professionalism and dedication consistent
with the highest traditions of the Naval Service, and reflects great credit upon himself, HMS Demon, the
Second Naval District, and the Royal Manticoran Navy. He is authorized the post-nominal ‘OCN.’”
The above directives are issued with an effective date of 27 May 2023.
