Active BuShips Directive 2604-01 was issued on 1 April 2026 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive commissions HMS Devastation (DD-44).

Attention to Orders:
Effective as of 0001 Hours on 01 April 2026, it is my pleasure and privilege to announce the re-commissioning of HMS Devastation, (DD-44) This is a Havoc-class Destroyer and is assigned to the Home Fleet.
The following personnel are hereby transferred and permanently assigned to HMS Devastation, (DD-44):
• Commander Kenneth Ayotte, RMN (assigned as CO)
• Lt. JG Chris Murphy, RMN (assigned as XO)
• MCPO Thomas Boutilier, RMN (assigned as Bosun)
• AotF Martin Lessem
• MCPO Thomas Guertin
• SCPO Robert Hamlin
• MSgt Royline Takishita
• CPO Michael Rosen
• PO1 Joshua Zachorne
• PO2 Jared Perry
• Cpl Kris Burger

Based upon the requirements of the service the following brevets are approved:
• Lt JG Chris Murphy to Lieutenant Senior Grade, RMN
Subsequent to the commissioning, HMLAC Detriment, (LAC-038) shall be transferred to the Active Fleet Reserves, following an inspection and any repairs deemed necessary. The vessel shall be made available for recommissioning at a later date.
