HMS Cerberus (CLAC-42) was a Hydra-class LAC Carrier of the Royal Manticoran Navy. First commissioned in 2015 in the Tenth Fleet and recommissioned in 2017 in the Third Fleet, she served across two commissions before her decommissioning on 29 March 2020.

History

Cerberus was commissioned on 23 May 2015 in the Tenth Fleet at Ceres, California, under CAPTSG James Jones,[1] and command passed to CAPTSG Katherine Texeira that October.[2] She was attached to Task Group 91.1 in June 2015, which was awarded the Royal Meritorious Unit Citation.[3] After her crew merged with that of HMS Wolf to launch HMS Thunderer,[4] Cerberus was placed in reserve.[5]

Cerberus recommissioned in March 2017 in the Third Fleet under CAPTJG Sir Andrew Martin, an upgrade from HMS Beowulf (BC-739).[6] She was decommissioned on 29 March 2020, her crew transferred to HMSS Greenwich.[7] Over her service she attended conventions including FleetEx OryCon 37, FleetEx FresCon 2016, and FleetEx NorWesCon 39.
