Despite mechanical problems with his vehicle and continuing medical difficulties, [[Captain | Captain (JG)]] MICHAEL NARON, commanding [[HMS Claymore (CA-51)]], drove two hours and then proceeded to unload a canopy, posters, chairs, and recruiting materials while having to use a scooter to get from his car to the table. He then manned the recruitment table off and on for six hours, allowing other members of the fleet to attend con events and take care of family matters. His continual dedication to RMN events, regardless of the distance and personal expense to himself, is in the best tradition of the Royal Manticoran Navy. For his service, he is awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.<br>
