A wealth of institutional knowledge

The House of Lords is the upper house of Parliament, made up of all the Peers of the Realm — members granted a TRMN peerage who are Seated and in good standing. Grayson Steadholders and Councilors, Andermani Peers, and Havenite Senators and Planetary Governors may also sit and participate. Seated peers serve for life. The House is led by an elected Lord Speaker and, each year, chairs the Peerage Board that selects members for new or elevated peerages.

The House of Lords is drawn from the Peers of the Realm. The complete, current roll — Grand Dukedoms, Dukedoms, Counties & Earldoms, Baronies, Life Peers, Grayson Steadholders, and the peers of the allied star nations — is maintained on the Roll of Peers.

A peer takes up the legislative business of the House by opting into Seated status with the Lord Speaker; Seated status (rather than the roll itself) determines active participation, and is administered by the House rather than published as a standing list.
