Convolution was an annual three-day science fiction, fantasy, and media convention held in the San Francisco Bay Area. It ran at the Hyatt Regency in Burlingame, California, before moving to the San Ramon Marriott in San Ramon for its final gathering in October 2017. Programming spanned literature, media, gaming, art, and music, with guests drawn from across the speculative-fiction field — among them Michael A. Stackpole, Tanya Huff, artist Jeff Sturgeon, and writer-scientist Kevin R. Grazier.
Within The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc., Convolution was a gathering point for the Tenth Fleet. HMS Medusa served as the hosting vessel for Tenth Fleet Fleet Exercises at Convolution 2015 and Convolution 2016.
