HMS Jonas Adcock (CA-489) was a Saganami-C-class Heavy Cruiser of the Royal Manticoran Navy in Eighth Fleet, the senior of two Salt Lake City chapters that together formed Cruiser Division 801. Commissioned in 2014, she divided in 2015 to spin off HMS Helen Zilwicki, and the two were merged into the LAC carrier HMS Siren in 2016.

History

Jonas Adcock was commissioned on 2 June 2014 under the command of CAPTJG Eddy Roberts, based in Salt Lake City.[1] On 1 November 2015 the chapter divided, with Roberts taking command of the newly formed HMS Helen Zilwicki and CAPTJG Edward Schneider assuming command of Jonas Adcock; the two ships were organized as Cruiser Division 801.[2]

The ship's command triad was relieved on 21 November 2016,[3] and on 28 November 2016 Jonas Adcock was merged with Helen Zilwicki into the newly commissioned LAC carrier HMS Siren, returning both hulls to the reserve.[4]
