A project is a focused effort by a group of editors to improve a particular part of the wiki. The Tenth Fleet Wiki is still growing, with many areas to fill out and complete, so help on any of the projects below is welcome. If an area needs improvement and isn't listed, you are most welcome to start a new project.

🚧 Under constructionThis page is actively being built and is not yet finished. Its layout, dependencies, or wording may be incomplete or change substantially. The project roster is being established – add real Tenth Fleet efforts under "Active projects" below. It should not be treated as a settled page until this banner is removed.

How to make a new project

Create a page in the Tenth Fleet Wiki namespace named for your project – for example, a project to standardize ship-article infoboxes could live at "TenthFleet:Projects/Ship articles". The project page should make clear what it is trying to achieve, and may include:

  • An overview of what the project aims to do.
  • The goal of the Project
  • The scope of the Project
  • The method(s) you and/or your team are going to use to complete the Project
  • If there are any established (Conventions and Rulings)
  • Status of the Project
  • If there are related Projects involved
  • A detailed to-do list for the project

An explanatory example of a Project page can be found at TenthFleet:Project_(new).

Once the project page is ready, add it to the list of active projects below and to Category:Projects with an appropriate sort key (e.g. [[Category:Projects|Ship articles]]).

Active projects

Bringing every ship-chapter article to a complete, cited, encyclopedic state with a directive-sourced Active/Inactive disposition.
Maintaining a complete, verbatim, standardized record of the organization's directive history. Linked to Ships through the BuShips and Naval Directives.

Completed projects

None yet.
