; What can a new (Tenth Fleet) wiki editor get started with?
* (Reference: [https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Template:Welcome/wrapper GW2 Welcome Wrapper])
This question is here in an effort to answer the question I now realize I had, but didn't realize I had when I started actually trying to do things in TFW. These are the things that will appear in the "Welcome to Tenth Fleet Wiki message sent to new editors"; basically, a short, quick orientation.
Referenced from Guild Wars 2 Wiki:
There is a message sent to a new editor when User access is granted (autoconfirmed Users?). This messge is basically a page that acts as a wrapper to deliver the bulk of what it's intended to deliver: a well-designed Welcome message which contains a few links helpful to have in getting started, a few links for wiki-related communication, some links leading to where to find something to work on, some links to useful pages for the creation of (new articles or pages(, or expansion of stubs?)), and a few links on where to find icons. (my job here is to use/adapt that as a resource for TFW). It also includes a message on wiki etiquette, and concludes with message congratulating the new editor, including a solution if the new editor still has questions or concerns. This is all put together as a Template named <nowiki>{{Template:Welcome}}</nowiki>. Towards the bottom of the page, there is a section containing helpful resources, and a section with a couple of other resources to also check out. At the foot of the page (within the source, not seen on the page when looking at it in the Read tab) is the equivalent of <code><nowiki>[[Category:TenthFleet]]</nowiki></code>. Summarized, it would look something like this:
; TenthFleet:Welcome_to_the_Wiki!
* Welcome message. (about 1 sentence)
* <nowiki>== Welcome message for new Users ==</nowiki>
* <nowiki><!-- If you've just had [[Special:CreateAccount|a new account created]], then the following message will appear on your User talk page -->:</nowiki><br /><nowiki>
{{Template:Welcome}}</nowiki>
* <nowiki>== Help Resources ==</nowiki>
** <nowiki>Be sure to visit our extensive [[Help:Contents]] page, where you can view & reference a plethora of Help pages, communicate with other editors and Admins, and get your questions answered.
* <nowiki>== See also ==</nowiki>
** <nowiki>Learn about our policies, guidelines, and processes at</nowiki>
** <nowiki>Tenth Fleet Wiki news and links to important wiki-specific discussions can be found at the [[TenthFleet:Community_hub|Community Hub]].</nowiki>

The following summarizes the content in <nowiki>{{Template:Welcome}}</nowiki>:
