* '''Q:''' "Captain of the List or SG. That has to be appointed or is a function of the ship type? And will people be able to be nominated for such a promotion before a board?"
** {{fla}}: " It is a function of position. Captain of the List guarantees promotion to Commodore, and future Flag ranks. It was always intended to limit these promotions to an absolute necessity. People can still be nominated to the ranks, but without a billet, it will be denied."<ref name="question1">[https://www.facebook.com/groups/TRMN.ORG/permalink/1053531568014553/?comment_id=1053535181347525&comment_tracking=%7B%22tn%22%3A%22R7%22%7D Answer #1 from TRMN FB Group]</ref>
* '''Q:''' "Do Promotion Boards still apply?"
** {{fla}}: "Yes. Same way they always have. Captain of the List and Flag Officers are going to be handled by appointments, approved by the Flag Board."<ref name="question2">[https://www.facebook.com/groups/TRMN.ORG/permalink/1053531568014553/?comment_id=1053535181347525&comment_tracking=%7B%22tn%22%3A%22R7%22%7D Answer #2 from TRMN FB Group]</ref>
* '''Q:''' "(regarding promotions to O-1) 6 months @ E-1 again, instead of 4 months @ E-4. Correct?"
** {{fla}}: "Yes. Although, not everyone should be going Officer. Ships need to maintain appropriate ratios."<ref name="question3">[https://www.facebook.com/groups/TRMN.ORG/permalink/1053531568014553/?comment_id=1053536154680761&reply_comment_id=1053536878014022&comment_tracking=%7B%22tn%22%3A%22R9%22%7D Answer #3 from TRMN FB Group]</ref>
* '''Q:''' "Does this affect previous Brevets? Such as SG captain for larger ships?"
** {{fla}}: "No. Previously awarded ranks remain"<ref name="question4">[https://www.facebook.com/groups/TRMN.ORG/permalink/1053531568014553/?comment_id=1053537018014008&reply_comment_id=1053538841347159&comment_tracking=%7B%22tn%22%3A%22R8%22%7D Answer #4 from TRMN FB Group]</ref>
