While the forums are a big change for some people, there are a number of notable differences from Facebook. The primary difference is there is no need to make the same post to different boards on the forum. As long as your post is made in a board that does not have restricted membership, it will show up in the unread posts listing of every user.
To help facilitate general announcements of interest to a significant portion of the members, a “General Announcements” board has been created under Announcements and Orders that any member may post relevant notices in. In fact, this order was posted to that board to help you find it.
Going forward, excessive duplicate or cross posting will not be tolerated. Please police yourselves.
