HMS Diomedes (BC-588) is an Agamemnon-class Battlecruiser assigned to Battlecruiser Division 921 within the Tenth Fleet.
History
Diomedes was commissioned on 09 November 2016 as an Agamemnon-class Battlecruiser assigned to the Sixth Fleet (Little Rock, AR), with LCDR Aaron Clark as her first Commanding Officer.[1]
On 07 November 2018, Diomedes was decommissioned and transferred to the Active Fleet Reserves for inspection and any necessary repairs, made available for recommissioning at a later date.[2]
On 30 March 2021, Diomedes was re-commissioned and assigned to the Tenth Fleet AOR (El Cajon, California), with CAPT(JG) Timothy Simpson as Commanding Officer.[3]
On 14 March 2022, FADM Henessey took command of Diomedes, relieving CAPT(JG) Timothy Simpson.[4]
