HMS Truculent (BC-593) is a Nike-class Battlecruiser assigned to Battlecruiser Division 961 within the Tenth Fleet.
History
Truculent was commissioned effective 5 July 2012, as a Nike-class Battle Cruiser assigned to the Tenth Fleet. Its first commanding officer was Captain, j.g. Timothy Monk.[1]
On 12 October 2014, a change of command updated the ship's command team, with Commander Cary Conder assigned as Executive Officer; Captain (jg) Monk remained in command.[2] On 28 February 2015, a further change of command assigned Commander Mir Plemmons as Executive Officer, with Monk still in command.[3]
On 13 November 2015, Commander Mir Plemmons was appointed Acting Commanding Officer of Truculent.[4] This appointment was confirmed on 19 November 2015, with Captain (junior grade) Mir Plemmons named permanent Commanding Officer.[5]
On 4 September 2019, Commander James Falconburg assumed the duties of Commanding Officer, relieving Captain (jg) Mir Plemmons.[6]
On 13 August 2022, Kapitänleutnant William Cole, IAN, assumed the duties of Commanding Officer, relieving Captain (jg) James Falconburg.[7]
