Tenth Fleet Order 1901-07 is a fleet order issued on January 2019 by Rear Admiral James Jones, Baron Whidbey Basin, Commanding Officer of the Tenth Fleet. The order records Tim Simpson stepping down as Fleet Intelligence Officer to move to Logistics, and asks ship COs to route Black Sphinx Cup selections to the Chief of Staff pending a new appointment.

Re: Fleet Intel officer
As we contine making certain changrs within the Fleet, we have to evaluate where things are and where we think they should proceed to. These things take time and dedication to achieve, and need to be realistic in work and deeds. In this matter and in light of his and loved ones health, I have asked Tim Simpson to step down as Fleet Intelligence Officer and to move to Logistics to help with Con and personnel items and supplies. We thank him for his time and efforts in his post and hope health matters improve and are resolved.
However, with challenges and the Black Sphinx Cup coming soon, we have determined that having a ship CO in the Fleet Intel job can be seen as biased and potentially a conflict of interest. Until we announce the new Staff, I would ask that Ship COs send their selections for possible fleet challenges to my chief of Staff or Myself.
