I have the honor to announce the following award:
Meritorious Service Medal
David Patrick O'Shea RMN-2539-14
The Meritorious Service Medal is hereby awarded to Helmsman Petty Officer 2/c David O'Shea for their actions in support of Marine Detachment Medusa (First Battalion, Lynx Regiment) at CarrierCon on 18 March 2023. Due to the shortage of persons needed for the re-activation ceremony of Marine Detachment Medusa it was mentioned that it would need to be postponed. Upon hearing this, Petty Officer O’Shea volunteered himself as a stand in and assisted with the re-activation ceremony. His exceptional service and dedication to detail in support of Marine Detachment Medusa brings great credit to himself, and the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Congratulations PO2 O'Shea, and keep up the great work.
