BuPers Directive 1909-02 was issued on 20 September 2019 by the Fifth Space Lord. This directive apppoints the Director for the Office of Awards and the Staff Liaison Officer to the FLA.

RADM Thacker:
You are hereby directed to proceed immediately from HMS Minotaur to the Office of the Fifth Space Lord, Admiralty House, Landing, Manticore to take up your duties as the Director, Office of Awards and as the Staff Liaison Officer to the First Lord of the Admiralty. Furthermore, you are to report to the Fifth Space Lord’s Chief of Staff, Captain of the List Tracy Newby, CE, CBM, RMN, to receive any further instructions from me. Do not fail in the execution of these orders as to avoid any possible punishment under the standing articles and regulations of the Royal Manticoran Navy.
On a personal note, I would like to congratulate you on your selection for this posting. I am looking forward to working with you.
