BuTrain Directive-006-23
To: All Members of the Grand Alliance

RE: Modification of BuTrain Honor Society Requirements
In order to consolidate and streamline the process of members being recognized for Honor Society membership, the BuTrain Awards Officer will take on the processing of the honor societies.
Members who believe they have qualified for an Honor Society may apply by filling in the Honor Society Application Form. The BuTrain Awards Officer will check to see if they meet the criteria for the Society they have applied for. Once this has been determined, the Awards Officer will note the successful application, and at the end of each calendar month will forward the list of applicants to each Academy. Each Academy will issue the appropriate order inducting members into the relevant societies.
Membership will not be automatically awarded, but students must apply through the form.
In adding the GPU courses into the rank series of all branches, we have added additional courses that need to be considered for BuTrain Honor Societies.

This does not revoke any society memberships for people who have been inducted before this date, as all memberships will be grandfathered in.
