History

HMS Victorious was commissioned on 27 Oct 2012 under the command of CAPTJG Jill McTavish, as a Reliant-class Battlecruiser and assigned to the Sixth Fleet.[1]

HMS Victorious was recommissioned on 11 Jun 2021 under the command of CAPT Roon Marchant.[2]

A change of command on 17 Jan 2022 placed CDR Humphrey in command.[3]

A change of command on 21 Jun 2024 placed CDRE Marchant in command.[4]

Command-staff changes were announced on 26 Jan 2025.[5]

On 1 Sep 2025, CDR Giese was appointed Executive Officer.[6]
