HMLAC Browncoat (HMLAC-033) was a Shrike-B-class Light Attack Craft which was active in Eighth Fleet, and berthed upon HMS Cyclops. In 2020, Browncoat upgraded to the destroyer HMS Tornado (DD-488).
History
Browncoat was commissioned on 6 October 2019 under the command of LTSG Richard DeShong.[1] The ‘’Browncoat’’ was assigned to patrol Tempe, AZ.
The Browncoat had HMS Cyclops (CLAC-11) as its parent ship.
On 28 February 2020, Browncoat was transferred to the Active Reserves with the commissioning of HMS Tornado (DD-488).[2]
