Active Naval Directive 14JL-02 was issued 20 July 2014 under the authority of the First Space Lord. It appoints the Senior Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy.

To:	All Officers and Enlisted in the Royal Manticoran Navy
From:	Fleet Admiral of the Green, Lord Sir Scott Akers, KSK, KDE, KCR, SC, First Space Lord, Earl, New Arkhangelsk
Re:	Retroactive Appointment of Senior Master Chief Petty Officer of The Royal Manticoran Navy

As of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby appoint Command Senior Master Chief Petty Officer Thomas Coonradt to the position of Senior Master Chief Petty Officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy with appropriate promotion therein. In this position he will serve as THE Ombudsman for Manticoran Naval Enlisted personal, and as the Mentor and Guide for all Ship's Bosun's in particular and the Fleet's Chief's Mess is General, this order made under my hand will be effective 0001 hours 08-Mar-2014
