Active BuShips Directive 2301-02 was issued on 12 April 2023 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new Commanding Officer and Executive Officer to HMS Broadsword (CA-47).

Re: Change of Command, HMS Broadsword (CA-47) (BuShips Directive 2301-02)


CC: CAPT(JG) Rose J.M. Collins, CBM, RMN Commanding Officer, HMS Broadsword (CA-47)

Commander Christy:

You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Broadsword (CA-47), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer, relieving Captain Junior Grade Rose J.M. Collins, CBM, RMN, in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.

The following personnel have been assigned to your command, are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Broadsword (CA-47), There to take upon the duties and responsibilities below:

  • CAPTJG Rose J.M. Collins, RMN (RMN-3348-15), Is assigned as EXECUTIVE OFFICER, relieving Commander Amalya B. Christy, RMN, In service to the Crown

Based upon the requirements of the service for your new billet, you are hereby brevetted to the rank of CAPTAIN JUNIOR GRADE, RMN.

The above directive is effective on this date, 08 January 2023.

The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to CAPT(JG) Collins for her service as Commanding Officer of the Broadsword and wish her all success in her future endeavors.
