Active Her Majesty's Naval Directive 2507-02 was issued 3 July 2025 by the First Space Lord. The directive effects the change of command of Squadron 501 and Division 501.2.

HER MAJESTY'S NAVAL DIRECTIVE RMN-2507-02
CHANGE OF COMMAND, SQUADRON 501 and DIVISION 501.2
Members of the Grand Alliance,
As of this writing, Captain Junior Grade Jeff Alan Smith, RMN, is hereby requested and required to report to Captain Junior Grade Christina Swanson, currently commanding Division 501.2 as her relief.
In addition, Captain Swanson is hereby requested and required to report to Captain of the List Sherman Day, RMN, currently commanding Squadron 501 as his relief.
Captain Day is heartily thanked for his service as Squadron CO both by myself and Rear Admiral Dragon Rock and wished the greatest success in his future endeavors. Captains Smith and Swanson likewise have our full confidence and best wishes for their new commands.
