Corps Directive 09-1808 was issued 26 August 2018 under the authority of the Marshal of the Corps. The directive appoints the Tenth Expeditionary Force Commanding Officer.

With the activation of the Tenth (10) Expeditionary Force Command it has become necessary to appoint a commanding officer. Therefore, as of the date of this Order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, Colonel Michael Houghtaling you are hereby ordered to assume command of the Tenth Expeditionary Force as its commanding officer. You are also hereby breveted to the rank of Brigadier General.
The above effective 0000 hrs. 26-AUG-18.
