Editing
- Click Edit on any page to change it. Describe your change in the edit summary and save.
- Practice in your user sandbox before editing live pages.
- Wikitext basics:
''italic'','''bold''',[[Page]]for a link,[[Page|label]]for a labelled link, and== Heading ==for sections.
Building a page
- Search for the title first to avoid duplicates.
- Start with a bold lead sentence, add sections with headings, and finish with categories.
- Match the conventions in the Manual of Style.
Links, categories, and images
- Link generously to related pages; a red link marks a page that doesn't exist yet.
- Add
[[Category:Name]]at the foot of a page to file it. - Ask the Wiki Team about uploading images.
Templates
- Templates such as
{{Order info}}and{{News}}provide reusable formatting; see their template pages for usage.
