Tenth Fleet Order 2312-01 is a fleet order issued on 31 December 2023 by Rear Admiral Drakkus Heath, Commanding Officer of the Tenth Fleet. It issues a series of awards to Tenth Fleet personnel for their service at Orycon and during the Interstellar Astrographic Navy (IAN) reading challenges, and grants unit citations to several chapters.

By my authority as Commanding Officer of Tenth Fleet, and after consultation with the Awards Department, I hereby issue the following awards:

Navy Marine Achievement Medal

Cary Anne Conder RMN-0866-12

During the recent Reading Challenge, Captain Conder demonstrated selfless contribution by having read 9281 pages (more than double that of 2/3rd of the 8th Fleet personnel participants) despite being the Commanding Officer of HMS Callisto (BC-722) of Victoria Station and not a ship of the 8th Fleet.

Bill Cole RMN 6378-20

Kapitän der Sterne Bill Cole, RMN, CO of HMS Truculent, staffed the TRMN recruiting table; his efforts gained TRMN a good number of new members.

Silesian Anti Piracy Medal

Duane Kietzmann RMN-2601-14

During the weekend of Orycon, Captain Senior Grade Duane Kietzmann did commute an hour or more each way simply to serve the convention and TRMN. This commute accomplished 7 hours of travel, though no individual commute was that long.

Julie Taylor RMN Number: RMN-5578-18

Julie Taylor volunteered 4 hours for precon prep for Orycon, she spent 6 hours for set up/tear down of the Ward room. She accepted lead position of the green room position 2 weeks prior to con due to volunteer vacancy. In addition she spent 8 hrs each con day with green room/con stuff, opened/closed/ran Green Room for con.

Kathy Rau RMN Number: RMN-2032-14 (Grayson Meritorious Service Medal)

Kathy Rau spent 6 hours at the TRMN fan table. In addition she traveled from Fresno Ca. to Portland Or. to attend Orycon.

Mir Plemmons RMN Number: RMN-1284-13

Mir Plemmons spent 4 hours on the fan table and 4 hours helping in the Ward room, in addition to spending 4 hours assisting with the con.

Johnathan Perkins-Woeck RMN Number: RMN-2171-14

Johnathan Perkins-Woeck spent 2 hours helping unload con storage, and spent 4 hours working in the ward room

Robert Mitchell RMN Number: RMN-4435-17 (Intelligence Commendation Decoration)

Robert Mitchell spent 4 hours at the TRMN fan table.

Margaret Fowler RMN Number: RMN-2654-14

Margaret Fowler Spent 2 hours on the TRMN Fan table, and she volunteered for 2 hours in the Ward Room.

Nathan Brakefield RMN Number: RMN-4689-17 (Grayson Meritorious Service Medal)

Nathan Brakefield spent 4 hours volunteering in the Green Room, he also spent 4 hours at the TRMN Fan Table, 2 hours helping in the Ward Room, 2 hours running the Remote Training Institute. In addition he helped think through and research the appropriate Grayson Award equivalents, He spent hours grading the tests for same day immediate results, being a resource on Grayson, and being of service to his Stead-holder enabling and extending her contributions to the Orycon conventions.

Susan Cole spent a total of 2 hours helping on the TRMN Fan Table and spent 16 hours helping in the Ward Room.

Bill Cole volunteered for 12 hours on the TRMN fan table and spent 2 hours helping set up the ward room

Lydia Carlson RMN Number: RMN-3410-15 (Diplomatic Commendation Decoration)

Lydia Carlson volunteered and assisted for 12 hours in the Ward Room at Orycon

Gary Burns RMN Number: RMN-5428-18

Gary Burns volunteered and helped at the Fan Table for a total of 6 hours.

Chris Ballowe RMN Number: RMN-2665-14

Commander Ballowe volunteered and helped with the TRMN Fan Table for a total of 4 Hours.

Jerry Johnson RMN Number: RMN-1091-12

Jerry Johnson spent 4 hours on the TRMN Fan Table and spent 12 plus hours on Con registration. In addition he spent a total of 7 hours on the road due to traffic issues causing a 3 hour drive to extend to 7 hours on the road.

Royal Meritorious Unit Citation

HMS Chimera (CLAC-07)

During the recent IAN Reading challenge HMS Chimera was the highest hours leader in Tenth Fleet, and significantly contributed to Tenth Fleet placing first overall.

HMS Andromeda (BC-571)

The 2023 Run for the Cats Challenge specified that: "Finally, at the option of each participating fleet CO, one chapter in each fleet whose members collectively earned the most points may be awarded the coveted “Royal Meritorious Unit Citation”.

The following units in each fleet are therefore eligible. I will notify each fleet CO and copy you once you give me the thumbs up.

1st Fleet - HMS Penelope (BC-585)

2nd Fleet - HMS Helen (BC-570)

3rd Fleet - HMS Drake (CA-01)

7th Fleet - SMS Haudegen (Z-65)

10th Fleet - HMS Andromeda (BC-571)
