From: Vice Admiral of the Red Colin Lloyd, KDR, KDE, MC, DSO, GS, QBM, CBM, Baron New Ayers, Sixth Space Lord

Re: Establishment of the Grand Alliance Naval Academy

This order continues the establishment of the Grand Alliance Academies and establishes the Grand Alliance Naval Academy.

Directive-009-23.1: The Grand Alliance Naval Academy (GANA) is established under the 6th Space Lord.

Directive-009-23.2: Captain (SG) Thomas Hathaway (RMN-5373-18) is appointed Commandant and promoted to Commodore (F-1), and WO-5 Nathan Brakefield (RMN-4689-17) is appointed Chief of Staff.

Directive-009-23.3: Commander Blake Filkins (RMN-6220-20) is appointed as Vice Commandant of GANA and CO the Mainline Training College, with a promotion to Capt(SG).  All SIA, IMNA, and PAMA rank course instructors are transferred to GANA Mainline College and ordered to report to Capt Filkins.

Directive-009-23.4: Kapitän der Sterne Bill Cole (RMN-6378-20) is appointed Vice Commandant of GANA and CO of the Naval Technical Specialities College. Commander Jessica Barnhill (RMN-4419-17) is appointed Deputy of the NTSC.  All SIA, IMNA, and PAMA TSC chairpeople and instructors are reassigned and are to report to Kapitän der Sterne Cole.

Directive-009-23.5: While SIA, IMNA, and PAMA no longer operate independently, instructors may continue to wear the relevant uniform patches if they instruct those branch courses.

Directive-009-23.6: As part of an effort to reduce direct duplication of TRMN courses, all active IMNA TSC courses are closed and their content has been merged with SIA TSC to form combined Naval TSC courses.   People who have taken these courses may use them for role play ship assignments and they will continue to count for promotion points and MWM.   Students with outstanding IMNA TSC courses have 60 days to complete and return them.   In order to not require complete reprogramming of MEDUSA the SIA course numbers are retained.

Directive-009-23.7: In calculating the Space Warfare Pin for RMN, GSN, and RHN personnel, SIA TSC course numbering will be used, and they will use the standard Naval SWP qualifications, though they may wear their branch-specific insignia.  The IAN Space Warfare Pin will continue to use the PAMA TSC course numbering for calculation purposes.
