Re: (AD 2502-01) Combat Infantry Badge Task List

Effective 15 FEB 2025, Army Directive 2111-05 is hereby rescinded and replaced with the following updated requirements for the Royal Manticoran Army Combat Infantry Badge (CIB). However, to ensure fairness and allow members who have already begun working towards their CIB under the previous system to complete their efforts, a grace period is established through 31 December 2025.

RMA Combat Infantry Badge Task List:

Marksmanship Task: Obtain proficiency in marksmanship at the level of EXPERT in a single category.

Charity Task: Volunteer EIGHT (8) hours of your time by participating at a local, regional, national, or international charity event. Monetary donations are not accepted; only volunteer time counts, but you may work remotely. Submit a letter that verifies your participation at the event. This letter can be from the charity supervisor or a member of your chapter leadership team if it was a chapter excursion. Academics Task: Officers must complete their branch’s O-6 exam.* Warrant Officers must complete their branch’s W-5 exam.* Enlisted must complete their branch’s E-10 exam.*

Event Participation Task: Earn any ONE (1) specific campaign or service medal for active involvement in events such as: Prisoner of War Medal Silesian Peacekeeping and Observation Medal Masadan Occupation Medal Havenite War Campaign Medal Havenite Operational Service Medal

The following may be used to serve in place of up to two (2) of the four (4) tasks: (Substitutions: Seek approval from the issuing authority before starting your substitution. The required Orbital Warfare Badge, or its equivalent, may not be substituted. Each option is a single-use meaning that "Option A" cannot be used to satisfy both event participation and charity tasks. )

Leadership (Option A):

Demonstrate leadership abilities by taking on roles such as CO, XO, NCOIC, or other staff positions and serve for at least ONE YEAR (365 days) consecutively. Note: We make no distinction on whose staff you serve.

After that period you must receive a commendation (award, MiD, etc) or recommendation from an officer/SNCO in your chain of command for exceptional leadership skills.

Community Engagement (Option B): Engage with the TRMN community by discussing and actively participating in TWO (2) challenges sponsored by members of the organization. - OR - Engage with the public by actively participating at FIVE (5) TRMN-sponsored events.

Growth and Improvement (Option C) Host a workshop, seminar, or training session aimed at enhancing the skills of our members and increasing retention. - OR - Recruit TEN (10) members to TRMN. Note: These members can be new or people previously inactive for one (1) year or more.

Final Review: Submit evidence of completed tasks and achievements to the designated review authority for verification. Upon meeting all requirements, receive the RMA Combat Infantry Badge as recognition of active participation and dedication to combat infantry duties within the RMA. Final approval for tasks remains with the issuing authority.
